Welcome to my portfolio! Here you’ll find a collection of my work as a
reporter, producer, blogger and newscaster.
I am a reporter for Keystone Crossroads, an NPR member station collaboration across the state of Pennsylvania. We report on the challenges that cities in Pennsylvania face in the changing economy. Post-coal, post-steel, post-industry, what’s left? That’s what we’re here to find out. I work from WPSU in State College, covering Central Pennsylvania.
Before coming to WPSU, I was a Kroc Fellow at NPR. I blogged for Goats and Soda, NPR’s Global Health blog, right as Ebola was exploding across West Africa. I reported for the national desk, creating features that aired on All Things Considered and Morning Edition. I worked at member station KCUR in Kansas City, Missouri as a general assignment reporter and newscaster. I also worked as a producer for Weekend Edition.
I have reported across Central America. I covered the emerging maternal health crisis in Nicaragua and El Salvador for the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting and worked for the Nicaragua Dispatch, an English-language newspaper based in Granada, Nicaragua.
I have a degree in Political Communication from The George Washington University, where I graduated with Honors.
